Jazzy Paper-y Pattern

I'm thinking of getting this printed as a cheery iPhone cover :o)

Tea drinkers 2: Builders

Picture 2 in my series of 'tea drinkers' illustrations. Here's some naughty builders building up quite an impressive collection of mugs. Just one more and they'll get right back to work...

Tea drinkers 1: Buddha

When I was in my final year of university, we had to do a self-promotional project of our own choosing. I came up with having a theme of tea (as I love tea) and because I also like writing silly little rhymes, I decided to do pictures of famous people that I think would like drinking tea and write little poems to go with each one.

I felt like my original images were very rushed, as I was juggling three final projects at once, so I've decided to start again, as I had a soft spot for the concept and the silly poems I came up with!

Here is number one: Buddha!

Owly

Recently I finished a collage of a barn owl for Jason's Auntie Anne (at her request). She has very kindly agreed to make my wedding dress for me, so I'm glad I could do something in return (although I don't think this quite compares to the amount of work that goes into a wedding dress...)

I'm quite pleased with how he's turned out! He's the most complicated bird I've attempted to collage, as there's soooo many crazy colours and patterns going on in his wings!

Here he is framed and sitting on my dining room fireplace mantel:
